Stefan and Neil in Japan!

In August Maiko and I were visited by Stefan McNally and his friend Neil Harrison from N.Ireland. We had a class time with them and got to see and do all sorts of things in Japan. We travelled, did some sigthseeing, ate a lot, talked a lot and just generally relaxed and had a good time. Some highlights included:

  • Playing football on the roof of a 15 floor apartment block (open air)
  • Visiting friends Taneli, Rie and Riku on Shikoku
  • Travelling to Hirashima and visiting the Nuclear bomb memorial and museum
  • Eating a lot at Maiko's mum's house
  • Watching a Man Utd game in an Irish Bar in Osaka (have not seen United play for ages, and it was weird to be with other Irish people in Osaka!)
  • Swimming in a few rivers, swimming in the sea, shopping, sightseeing, eating in restaurants etc etc

The boys have since moved on to Thailand where they will stay for 2 weeks before heading home. It was a great time so thanks guys. Looking forward to your next trip!
